عيد ميلاد مجيد
ג מולד שמח
Congratulations for experiencing this year’s Christmastide. Thank God for the gift of life!
IT IS WRITTEN
22 It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness.
(Lamentations 3:21-23 AMPC).
8 The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and abounding in mercy and loving-kindness.
9 The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works [the entirety of things created]. (Psalms 145 AMPC).
The first Adam was unable to keep just one commandment. He fell woefully (Genesis 3). God came quickly to rescue us. Adam was lost! But God, Compassion Personified, came looking for him. He asked, ‘Where are you?’ (Gen 3:9).
The glory on ‘the first Adam’ was gone. Adam and Eve had sinned. Miseries started. Their seducer, satan, had been judged before human existence (Ezekiel 28:13-19). It was given more curses (Genesis 3:14-15). This outcast, who is the self-employed troublemaker, will be incarcerated forever one day (Revelation 20:7-10). Adam, Eve and all their posterity without exception were eligible to be sentenced to hell by God, Who is righteous because of their disobedience. This was the Divine order.
But with a few Words, God rescued man from the clutches of satan. His judgement included:
I will make you (satan) and the woman enemies to each other. Your children and her children will be enemies. You will bite her child’s foot, but he will crush your head.” (Genesis 3:15 ERV).
“And I will put enmity (open hostility) Between you and the woman, And between your seed (offspring) and her Seed; He shall [fatally] bruise your head, And you shall [only] bruise His heel.” (Genesis 3:15 AMP).
The ‘child’ and ‘the ‘Seed’ mentioned here was Jesus. Hidden inside this prophecy were many prophecies including the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ into our world to save us. The devil tried to oppose this, but it failed miserably at every step.
Is this not something to rejoice about? The joy of Christmas is your salvation. Your healing is part of the package. Without salvation, there is nothing to rejoice about.
Jesus came to earth for you (Luke 2:7). His goal was to save you.
Note how He was to come.
For He [the Servant of God] grew up before Him like a tender shoot (plant), And like a root out of dry ground; He has no stately form or majestic splendor That we would look at Him, Nor [handsome] appearance that we would be attracted to Him. (Isaiah 53:2 AMP).
For [the Servant of God] grew up before Him like a tender plant, and like a root out of dry ground; He has no form or comeliness [royal, kingly pomp], that we should look at Him, and no beauty that we should desire Him. (Isaiah 53:2 AMPC)
Marvel at His lowly entrance into this earth.
7 And she gave birth to her Son, her Firstborn; and she wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room or place for them in the inn. (Luke 2:7 AMPC).
6 And it came about, while they were there, the yamim (days) were fulfilled for Miryam to give birth.
7 And she bore her ben, her Bechor (firstborn); and she wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in an evus (animal feeding trough), because there was no place for them in the malon (inn). (Luke 2:7 OJB)
The ‘world’ (as defined by 1 John 2:16) has not changed. It is still undiscerning concerning the things of God. If you are saved ‘ye are not of the world’ (John15:19). ‘Love not the world’ (1 John 2:15).
Today, the Compassionate Lord comes to people to show His compassion to rescue man from myriads of miseries but, how many are letting Him show it. Billions are still shutting their doors to Him. Sadly, it is too late for some. However, when there is life there is hope.
ARE YOU SAVED? HAVE YOU BEEN SEEKING GOD?
Jesus has come to you many times, knocking at the door of your heart (Revelation 3:20). Open the door of your heart. Let Him in for your benefits (Psalm 103:1-5). Besides this, you will have the privilege of a lifetime companionship you have never imagined. And it is forever! If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and your Savior, just click Be saved Read the page and pray the prayer of invitation. Don’t waste any second. I congratulate you ahead.
ARE YOU A BELIEVER?
If you have been saved, know that Jesus has come to give you super-abundant life (John 10:10b AMP). There is always MORE from Him to you (Proverbs 4:18 AMP). He has come to tell you the latest News of the Kingdom. He wants more intimacy with you. It doesn’t matter how long or how far you have been away from Him. He longs for you. Come back home. Remember that it was to the backslidden Laodicean Church (Revelation 3:16) that Jesus sent these encouraging words
20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
20Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me. (Rev 3:20 AMPC).
“Look at me. I stand at the door. I knock. If you hear me call and open the door, I’ll come right in and sit down to supper with you. Conquerors will sit alongside me at the head table, just as I, having conquered, took the place of honor at the side of my Father. That’s my gift to the conquerors! (Rev 3: 20-21 MSG).
‘Any man’, ‘anyone’ and ‘you’ means you. God is the God of equity (Acts 10:34-35).
PRAYER TIME.
Lord, I have read that you have been knocking at the door of my heart for a long time. I am sorry for being so insensitive. Please come in Lord, Jesus. Have Your way in me.
DO YOU NEED HEALING?
Read aloud and meditate on the following words.
Who believes what we’ve heard and seen?
Who would have thought God’s saving power would look like this?
2-6 The servant grew up before God—a scrawny seedling,
a scrubby plant in a parched field.
There was nothing attractive about him,
nothing to cause us to take a second look.
He was looked down on and passed over,
a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand.
One look at him and people turned away.
We looked down on him, thought he was scum.
But the fact is, it was our pains he carried—
our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us.
We thought he brought it on himself,
that God was punishing him for his own failures.
But it was our sins that did that to him,
that ripped and tore and crushed him—our sins!
He took the punishment, and that made us whole.
Through his bruises we get healed.
We’re all like sheep who’ve wandered off and gotten lost.
We’ve all done our own thing, gone our own way.
And God has piled all our sins, everything we’ve done wrong,
on him, on him (Isaiah 53:1-6 MSG).
He himself bore our sins in his body on the stake, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness — by his wounds you were healed (CJB).
‘His wounds became your healing.’ (MSG).
Then, claim your healing with bold faith in the Name of Jesus.
Happy Christmastide.
